Paul Stanley Now Supports Gene Simmons’ Solo Venture But Fans Are Saying Another Thing

  • by

Paul Stanley recently took to social media to throw his support behind Gene Simmons’ solo band’s concert in Milwaukee. His message was clear and full of enthusiasm: “If you’re going to be anywhere near Milwaukee, you DON’T want to miss this!” It was a heartfelt call to action, urging fans not to let this chance pass them by. However, this gesture from Stanley stirred a different response among the fans, a response filled with longing and nostalgia.

Fans Yearn for Paul Stanley’s Return to Music

Fans have always been vocal about their desires, and this time was no different. Shortly after Stanley’s promotion, the responses started pouring in, echoing a sentiment that was less about Gene’s solo performance and more about missing Paul himself on the stage. “When will we see you rocking and we miss you play and sing,” one fan openly wondered, their words a clear sign of how much they yearn to see Stanley perform again.

Another fan was more direct in their approach, simplifying their desire to three potent words: “Return to the stage.” This sentiment was echoed by another supporter who asked, “And when will we see you rocking again?” It became evident that while fans were happy for Simmons and his solo ventures, they couldn’t shake off the desire to see Stanley in the limelight once more, electrifying the stage with his presence.

After KISS bid farewell to their adrenaline-filled shows with a final performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 2, 2023, Paul Stanley didn’t choose to fill his time with silence. Instead, he embraced a different form of expression – painting. By January, Stanley was already deep into his new venture. He shared, “I don’t really have a style other than what connects all of my pieces – which is vibrant color. Because, to me, color is the representation of life. I view my life, on its worst day, as a miracle. I think life is amazing. And I represent it with color.”

Stanley’s Artistic Pursuits and Simmons’ Ongoing Projects

Stanley’s collection boasts original paintings, hand-painted Ibanez guitars signed by Stanley himself, mixed media artworks, and limited-edition pieces featuring unique metal works. Fans eager for a glimpse of his art had the chance to meet Stanley and encounter his artworks first-hand during special events held on February 23 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and February 24 at Boca Raton Town Center Mall.

On the flip side of Stanley’s artistic endeavors, Simmons keeps the rock spirit alive on stage. Performing across various European cities, Simmons and his solo band have an action-packed summer planned. Highlights include performances at Kuopiorock Festival in Finland on July 27, and the Dalhalla Amphitheater in Sweden on July 29, ensuring that Simmons’ energetic stage presence continues to captivate audiences far and wide.

The series of social media exchanges highlight the dynamics of fan interactions and the complex relationship between artists and their supporters. Stanley’s initial tweet, meant to boost Simmons’ solo event, inadvertently acted as a catalyst for fans to express their deep longing for Stanley’s return to the stage.
