“I’m sure when he made his book deal, they said, ‘You cannot talk to Dave [Lee Roth, original Van Halen singer], and you cannot talk to Hagar,” Hagar stated.

Hagar recalled Alex’s words, “‘Sammy, we ain’t getting any younger.’” In response, Hagar and Anthony emphasized the same point, suggesting that time was running out for them to perform together. Despite their efforts to mend their relationship and collaborate on the tour, Hagar revealed, “There was no response” from Alex.
