These Musicians Share Your Belief In Aliens

  • by

Some years ago, a Harvard scientist stirred up a storm by suggesting that extraterrestrials may have created the entire universe in a lab. While some might dismiss this as an over-the-top theory, the idea of alien involvement in our existence resonates with many. The possibility that we could be part of some grand experiment is both fascinating and unsettling.

This isn’t just a fringe belief, though. In the world of rock and roll, a surprising number of musicians have voiced their own belief in aliens. For some, the idea isn’t just a quirky theory but a genuine conviction that connects them to something beyond our world.

If you’ve ever felt like you weren’t alone in thinking the universe might hold more than we can understand, these musicians might be on the same wavelength. Let’s take a look at the artists who believe in life beyond Earth.

David Bowie

David Bowie had some intriguing thoughts on UFOs. In a 1974 interview with TV host Dick Cavett, he shared that he’d rather travel in a UFO than a plane. The idea of extraterrestrial life clearly fascinated him.

A year later, Bowie revealed even more. He claimed to have worked for a UFO publication in England. His experiences were intense—he said he had six to seven encounters every night while at the observation facility.

It’s clear that Bowie’s interest in the unknown went far beyond music. His connection to UFOs and alien life was something he openly embraced.

Matt Bellamy

Matt Bellamy, the frontman of Muse, shared an eerie experience during a Radio X interview. He described seeing a strange flashing light in the woods while heading home from a rehearsal. The timing was odd—it was around one in the morning.

What really stood out was his memory of suddenly waking up at home with no recollection of how he got there. Bellamy couldn’t shake the feeling that something unusual had happened during that time.

Though the experience was unsettling, Bellamy offered a more down-to-earth explanation. He joked that smoking something might have been the cause, rather than an alien abduction.

Sammy Hagar

Sammy Hagar, known for his time with Van Halen, made a bold claim during an interview with Howard Stern. He said that when he was 18, he had been abducted by aliens. According to Hagar, he was on a spacecraft with two beings and had something connected to him.

Hagar didn’t fully understand what had happened. He wasn’t sure if something was downloaded from his mind or if his brain had sent something to the aliens. The strange experience, he says, has stayed with him, often coming to him in his dreams.

This unusual story is also detailed in Hagar’s 2011 memoir. His recollections of the abduction remain one of his most bizarre and personal revelations.

John Lennon

In the mid-1970s, John Lennon claimed to have seen a couple of UFOs over Manhattan. The legendary Beatle wasn’t just fascinated by the experience; he turned it into inspiration for his music.

Lennon referenced the sighting in his song, capturing the strange encounter in lyrics. He sang, “There’s UFOs over New York and I ain’t too surprised.”

The lyrics, from his track “Nobody Told Me,” reflect his surreal view of the world. “Strange days indeed” seemed to perfectly sum up his thoughts on that otherworldly moment.

John Lennon was so convinced he saw a craft of some description that he wrote in the liner notes of 1974 album Walls and Bridges, “On the 23rd Aug. 1974 at 9 o’clock I saw a U.F.O.”, signing off with his initials. pic.twitter.com/cXkXX2SKBP

Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix, known for his wild imagination, was never one to shy away from eccentric beliefs. He claimed to have witnessed a UFO one evening with his brother Leon. They saw the strange object out of the rear window.

Hendrix didn’t just see UFOs; he was fascinated by everything otherworldly. His love for science fiction, particularly Flash Gordon, fueled his curiosity about alien life.

For Hendrix, the line between reality and fantasy was often blurred. His experiences with UFOs and his passion for sci-fi made him feel connected to something beyond Earth.

Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley’s hairstylist and spiritual counselor revealed some unusual details about the King’s early years. According to the stylist, Elvis had telepathic visions with aliens when he was just eight years old. One of those visions even included a future version of Elvis wearing a white jumpsuit.

At the time, young Elvis didn’t fully understand what the visions meant. The stylist also shared another bizarre encounter, where they both saw whirling lights in the sky while driving through the desert.

To add to the strange tales, Elvis’s father reportedly witnessed a UFO on the night Elvis was born. This mix of supernatural experiences only adds to the mystery surrounding the King’s life.

Lemmy Kilmister

Lemmy Kilmister, known for his rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, had an encounter that stuck with him long before his time with Motorhead. He recalled a strange experience from 1966, well before his rise to fame.

According to Lemmy, he saw an object that came over the horizon and stopped suddenly in the sky. The object then shot off at top speed, something he said was beyond the capabilities of any aircraft at the time.

This eye-opening experience left a lasting impression on Lemmy. It made him believe in the possibility of something otherworldly, even though he couldn’t explain what he had witnessed.

Mick Jagger

Mick Jagger has long been linked to strange UFO experiences. According to Dr. David S. Wilcock, director of the New York Center for Extraterrestrial Research, Jagger shared a peculiar story with him. The Rolling Stones frontman claimed to have seen a cigar-shaped ship during a camping trip in Glastonbury in 1968.

The following year, Jagger reportedly saw the same shape again, but this time at a Stones concert. This repetition left him wondering if something unusual was at play.

It’s also been suggested that Jagger took his interest in UFOs further by installing a UFO detector in his home. The device supposedly picked up high electromagnetic waves, often triggering when he wasn’t around.

Its been rumored Mick Jagger installed a “UFO detector” in his British Estate which measures the presence of strong EMF activity in the area.

Keith Richards

Keith Richards, Mick Jagger’s longtime friend, believed that UFOs were regularly visiting his property in the UK. In 1968, he claimed to have received reliable information that his home was located near a UFO landing zone.

Richards was firm in his belief that extraterrestrials existed. He said that many people had witnessed them and suggested they were linked to significant events, like the dawn of humanity.

Though convinced, Richards admitted he didn’t fully understand it all. “I’m not an expert,” he said, acknowledging that he was still trying to figure out what was really going on.
